These shows fill women's heads with dreams of always upgrading and being able to afford something they can't. Typical consumerism.
I swear to god every homeowning wife thinks it's now necessary o upgrade crap every few years.

They just figure if you spend 70,000 on a goddamn truck you must be wealthy.
I don't know the current numbers, but not that long ago GMC Yukon Denali buyers actually had a higher average income than Escalade buyers.

Supposedly the student loan and auto loan “bubble” is going to burst one day. I’ve been hearing this for years now and nothing changes except for tuition and auto prices increasing. Anyone see any end in sight with these absurd prices?

It’s the same as the commercials where a married couple is shown and one of them just goes out and buys a car and surprises the other one.
No big deal, just make a huge financial decision without talking

I never understood that. I would guess a prominent commodities trader?

Not yet as long as credit is dirt cheap. It can't last forever.

But it’s the Lexus December to Remember Sales Event! If you buy your wife an ugly car without telling her, she won’t mine so long as it has an oversized bow on it.

Reminds me of how in movies, there people that are living in NYC but are like part time writer and live in huge apartments, haha.
This is actually pretty legit. NYC is one of the top destinations for children of extremely wealthy parents. I know a girl that moved there and opened up something like a Pilates studio and lived in a super nice place right of college. Her parents were very wealthy. That makes up a considerable portion of certain parts of NYC.

Every time I see the grill on a Lexus...
It’s reminds me of this.

They don't need to show who is currently buying their vehicles. They need to get new buyers. They are saying that wealthy people can buy their vehicles too not just middle class people.
Just like when a whiskey brand shows a 70 year old grandmother sipping on a neat glass of whiskey. They have already gained the old man market. They want to influence new demographics to buy.

Peter McCallister was involved with the Chicago Mob. This is a known fact at this point.

Too funny. I bitch about this commercial every time I see it. These 30 year olds sure are making some serious bank.

Forget the houses, how about the cars out for a drive?
I want the Caterpiller Tractors that drive in front of these cars that force all other traffic off the road. I want to drive in California along the coastal highways and not have to worry about oncoming cars.
And with apologies to NCIS, I want to go to those cities and have my empty parking space waiting for me. And no meter maids.
