My wife is the one who pushes to keep it set so high, which is fine by me.

When I'm gone all day working 78.

Get home in the evening 74.

Go to sleep 72.

nope, I don't notice a difference...if my a-hole is impervious to chafing due to 4 years of military TP and middle east temperatures

NO WAY! Even when I was the same height I am now but only weighed 155 in HS I still couldn't deal with being in a house over like 75. People that keep their houses in the 80s, like my sister, are fricking INSANE!

central ac is between 73-75 when someone is home and 78 during the day. My window unit in my bedroom at night 60

When nobody is home, 78. When there are people home, 76. My eldest boy tried putting it to 70 ( I blame his school), I had to show him how much electricity costs.

Ours is kept at 68 only because the wife says she would "die" if it was any hotter. I would rather keep it around 72, but you know the rules. If the wife is happy, you will be happy.

During the day the living area is at 72 and 74 at night.
Master bedroom and front bedroom are 74 during the day and 69 at night.
Upstairs is 76 during the day and 72 at night.

The reason I fricking hate the invention of digital thermostats... I just cannot fall asleep for some reason knowing that it is set on 69. Drives me crazy, so I set it at 68.
