Absolutely not. It’s 20+ years later and I still can’t grow a beard or mustache. Some of that day is a little hazy as I turned 21 on a Sunday which in Alabama meant you could drive to Birmingham to drink. So we did.
He was a very nice guy. Laughed when I asked him to sign it. Saw him 15 years later at the Rickwood Classic and he laughed again when I told him the story.
Hope to head to a Sox game in May. Will touch base if I do.

I also served legal papers on a prominent former coach via certified mail. He signed for it personally and I kept the original of the return receipt. Taped to the wall of my office.

It’s a toss up between Morten Anderson and Doug Williams as those are the only autographs I ever asked for. Both were on napkins from Morten’s restaurant in Lakeside Mall (Anderson’s, I think).

I forgot I have a few golf balls signed from Zurich classic years ago - I can’t recall nor “understand” the autographs.
A nick saban signed golf ball - I have no idea where I received this signature.
Chad Ogea when we was helping Skip with one of his baseball camps (mid 1990s). Ironically he’s now my neighbor.!!!

I’ve only got one: Clint Eastwood. The only other one I want is Harrison Ford.
Funny story that had to do with my friend this week. He started a new job in San Francisco this week. The guy who had previously had his desk didn’t completely clean it out. As he’s newly organizing his desk, he sees that there was an autograph left behind. Whose autograph? Jussie fricking Smollett.

Tommy Lasorda, Don Mattingly, Wade Boggs, Shaq, Jose Canseco, Mark McGwire, Roger Clemens, Steve Sax, Jesse Barfield, Catfish Hunter
Then some passed down to me would be Joe DiMaggio, Mickey Mantle, Pete Rose, Joe Morgan, and Ken Griffey Sr.
