If my wife isn't home, hot dog and Mac'n'cheese. But that's bc she would never eat that and I don't like cooking much for just one person.

If she is home, besides steaks, the go-to is usually grilled chicken and rice. I mix up some spicy sauce using a bunch of stuff from the fridge. Grill some veggies with it. Easy dinner. You can make nachos or burritos out of it too.

Go to easy dinner
Sandwich: Chicken breast seasoned in an Italian-ish way, pesto, goat cheese, and sweet pepper slices on toasted Ciabatta bread. Usually go with a lobster crab bisque on the side.

I like the reply, but that's a highly contested ranking. Cuck has to be the worst.

Ground meat gravy and rice. It’s hamburger steaks except I just brown the ground meat and don’t form patties. Season everything the same, always have mushrooms and onion in the gravy.
never thought to do this but what an excellent idea

With wife
Ribeye, roasted potatoes, zucchini and broccoli.

Myself
Couple hotdogs and fries or sautéed spam, carrots, cabbage, green onions and zucchini tossed with thin spaghetti noodles and soy sauce (mom made it as a kid)

When we both don't feel like doing much. Bfast. Bacon, sausage, eggs, stone ground grits and drop biscuits

I’m telling you, it is so much better, especially when you just want to make an easy weeknight meal. I season the meat just the same but don’t form patties. I also don’t have to worry about the hamburger steaks overcooking and getting overly tough. Reheating them is hard because they will be cold in the center so you end up cutting them up anyway. Just enjoy the meat all ground up with all the same flavors. Reheats so easily for leftovers.

well that's all you had to say...
I am going to make it this week and see what my husband thinks. He likes patties but I don't like having to mess with them.

I eat boring but fairly clean

I eat jasmine rice with pretty much every meal. I am on low fodmap so I cant have a lot of condiments. I can have some siracha mayo though. So I mix in a little siracha may with the rice

The as the man course I generally slow cook a whole chicken and eat on that for 3 days, or slow cook a pork loin or beef roast and eat on those for 2-3 days. I get home so late that I really dont have time to cook cook

Uhh, not sure what you thinking, but I'm just a few days from trot lines for catfish. But beans are a must go to. Beans are a staple, cowboy.

I like my thick cut bacon, pork, beef, eggs, but sprinkle in veggies as I can. But beans are a must daily. Coffee too.
