Pecan by a mile but won’t shun an apple pie or crisp.

Love a good Pumpkin Pie or Sweet Potato either one.

My old deceased aunt used to make a delicous Pecan Pie. Instead of Karo Syrup she used some portion of Maple syrup in it. Dammmmm it was good!

Growing up, there was an old widow on our street who had no family close by. Mom would invite her to have dinner with us on holidays and she would always bring a magnificent apple pie with her. No canned filling or store bought crust. It was always made from scratch and if she added anything special in her recipe, she took it to her grave because to this day, it still is the best I have ever had.

Chocolate pecan with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Put it in the microwave for 10 seconds to sort of start the ice cream melting.
