Umm, no "big horse culture" until after the arrival of Europeans, who brought horses. There were no horses here in the Americas before that...

Hugely interested in what’s called “the long 19th century” in Europe (roughly 1789-1914). Essentially the French Revolution and then Napoleonic Wars are directly related to and helped cause WWI through a series of popular uprisings and balance of power alliances. Fascinating stuff.
