I drink any and all types depending on the weather, environment, and how many I plan on drinking. Right now Samuel Smith Nut Brown Ale is probably what I would go with. Never had a better beer than Pliny the Elder but you cant get it here

I wish the IPA craze would go away. Everything is an IPA these days.

You hade mentione something about sours. I think that will be the new trend coming soon, if not already. I would like to see more Gruit beers. Personally I am kind of tired of hops as a flavoring agent, but I know I am in the minority.

IPAs are not something I particularly care for, but I've been able to find a wide variety of non IPAs so it doesn't bother.

sours are huge right now, especially in the NW
it is not much in the South yet, with just Jester King and J. Wakefield really making sours down here

I'm going to have to look into this J. Wakefield you speak of. I'm on a big sour kick. I don't like overly fruity sours though. The closer to a lambic the less I like it.
