dont know. not gonna check or fret about it.

im 25+ years from retirement. the market will rise, and fall, and rise again in that time. no need to give myself and ulcer today.

But is it when it's passively managed and I can easily lose, what, upwards of 30-40% when the market tanks, whereas when I have someone actively managing it, it just goes to cash and I don't lose a huge chunk of it, and in some instances, may increase its value a little while the passive account is losing 40% of its value.

The last time I looked, my contributions are just offsetting my losses and holding my balances steady.

Should be going up around $3-4k for '23, as well IRA contributions by $4k
