It's pointless.

Does little if anything to prevent infections.

Doesn't affect total number of infections we'll have. Just drags it out.

Puts ppl at greater risk for more dangerous (for most people) infections like pneumonia etc. Due to touching face, mask being reused etc.

Masks in non medical situations are dumb AF.

-government leaders: dont wear masks

-government leaders: jk wear masks

-government leaders: everyone protest shoulder to shoulder, totally fine

-government leaders: MANDATE MASKS NOW WHY ARE PEOPLE RESISTING AND CONFUSED

its not about the mask, its about the bullshite new push that its somehow a silver bullet that will fix anything. businesses can do what they want, the government and Facebook Karens who are apocalyptic about it can get fricked

Masks have just become a new virtue signal/attempt to be smug and shame others by the media and left.

It would significantly harm the rest of the world to cover up my beautiful face.

You mask wearers are the equivalent of those that put your car flashers on when it’s raining.

Which is the same group that drives a car, alone, with a mask on.

I prefer the lady who walks around my neighborhood without anyone within 100 yards of her wearing a mask.

For a thinking person, I don't think you thought this through.

I've thought it through.

I stand by the assertion.

Masks would be about #7 on a prevent Coronavirus defense list

And that's if they were fitted and worn properly, handled properly, sanitized properly and stored properly.

These 4 things are critical to proper mask usage. Ever hear a politician talk about it? No.

Masks make people touch their face 10x more than they would otherwise which is already too much.

Not touching your face would be #2 on the list.

Washing hands is number one.

Having clean hands and not touching your face are critical issues and infinitely more important than a mask.

However, those things are harder to visualize than a mask. That's why government types love masks.

It has nothing to do with public health. In fairness, they are too stupid to know better.

Doesn’t do shite, power trip from government officials, have sinus problems and wearing it in Louisiana in July when you already have trouble breathing is a little more than uncomfortable.

They’re uncomfortable and hot. So I’m not wearing one. It really is as simple as that.

The government trying to force it is the problem.

I understand that view, but I see people here get angry about it when a private business has a mask policy.
