In 9th we had a baseball game, umpires were late. So we were playing pepper. Dude charged behind me, put his spike right on the back of my heel, slices my Achilles tendon. Pain is not a strong enough word

Was horsing around playing "ninja" with a buddy. He grabbed a machete. I kicked at him, he flinched. Machete went into the top of my foot and severed a nerve and two tendons. He still has the machete with my blood on it 23 years later.

From the other side of it, I almost broke my friends nose playing "Polish Arm Wrestling". Well, basically he almost broke his own nose but he blamed me for it. (accurately) Lots of blood and laughs.

One of my best childhood friends hit me in the head with a mattock(pick-ax with a hoe, not a pick).
I was 9, and he was only 7. We were out playing in the woods with the garden tools, probably building a fort. Coming back home he got stuck in kudzu, and couldn't get himself and the mattock out. So he threw it. Problem was he wasn't paying attention and threw it straight at me. I had just bent over to pick up a cool rock(I was 9...
) where the kudzu met the grass.
Woke up to his older brother, who was my age, yelling "Don't worry YoungVa, you aren't bleeding! Don't freak out, you aren't bleeding!" Of course there was blood EVERYWHERE. It had bounced off of my skull roughly 3 inches above my right ear. Right in the middle of the curve of the skull. Doctor said a millimeter of any type of movement in any direction, and it would have killed me. Still don't know if it was the hoe or the ax that hit me. It left a small permanent raised area the same shape as the scar, and I still can't grow hair there.
It was a different time then(1995), because despite the Doctor telling me that, they didn't do any tests to check for brain damage. They threw some stitches in me and sent me home. No MRI, No CT Scan, nothing. The exact quote given to me, when I was older and asked why they didn't get any tests done, was "You were acting normal, and the doc said everything was fine." In today's concussion sensitive culture, my hyper 9 year old arse would have been in a hospital bed for 2 or 3 days for observation.

Large gash on my shin as friends tried to throw me in the pool and didn't throw me all the way in. Should have had many stitches

You wouldn't think something like that could happen when you're just hanging with your bros, swinging 5 inch razor blades at each other
we were at work, and had to break down some boxes before we took them outside. I was holding a cardboard box, so he decides to be funny and said "here let me cut that for you", so he swung it at me, then freaked out when he gashed my arm open.

There has been a lot and most of them were a lot worse than this one but this one sticks out in my head and brings a tear to my eye every time. We were demoing the inside of a house that had a hot tub that was built in very well so we had to cut this old piece of shite up into small throwable pieces to make everything move faster, well while he was throwing some of the pieces to me (which weighed about 20 pounds) he thought it would be funny to catch me off guard and throw one while I had my back turned for a split second to see how I would react. I turned back around and that piece made a very solid connection with my nuts causing be to fall off the back of the dump bed trailer we had and also caused me to have to go get medical attention for the tissue damage that was done to my testicles. We were both laughing our asses off but I couldn't tell if I had tears from laughing or tears from crying.
TLDR version I got hit in the nuts and had to go to the hospital.

Seperated shoulder. WWF and WCW were at their heights and if you didn't learn how to defend all of the finishing moves you were toast. Our box went out for the previous pay per view and I missed the Rings of Saturn. Once my shoulder was popped back in place I hit him with a Sharpshooter Bret Hart would have been proud of.

I was riding with a buddy who said he was sober enough to drive. Work up in an ambulance, luckily just a broken nose, but I got beat to hell bruises and cuts all over my upper body.
Not me but two of my friends, one shot the other in the nuts with a pellet gun.

My friend was the designated driver one night, headed to Nogales, Mexico. He fell asleep at the wheel and hit a tree. Broke my back, ankle, fingers, and ribs. He had a bloody nose. I was pretty pissed.

Another, technically not a friend, but my sister's 1st time on a 4 wheeler(8ish) she didn't know how to stop. She tried to put her feet down like she would a bicycle. She plowed me over and ran right up a pine tree.
Who the hell lets an eight year old drive a four wheeler? Those things kill so many people. Roll overs are especially deadly.

used his dad's old Benjamin(higher powered pellet gun). His first shot caught a buddy of ours square in the nuts - he lost one that day.
