What is with the trucks with super offset wheels?

It's a given that it's trashy but why in the frick would you do it? Do people actually think this shite looks good? More tire is outside the fender than under the fender.

The deep dish rims scream douchebag. I can understand having a lift on a truck (not my preference) but when you pair them with deep dish rims on 2" of mud tire sidewall, I can't help but stare and laugh. The funny thing is that a lot of times it's older guys driving them.
