You watch your mouth.

IDK the worst city in the South, but it is obviously in Alabama or Mississippi.

Agreed. I've passed through Ferriday at least 20 times. No issues passing thru. Nice enough folks, a few gas stations, a sonic, etc. there's definitely worse.

Waterproof, on the other hand. . . Nothing. Passed thru twice and made sure to avoid every other time I was up that way.

I once worked there and the people that live there are idiots. After one year I got sick of people that live "back of town" or whatever. The idiots rule that town. I taught there after three years and all of us teachers who got tenure left that place to work elsewhere.

Mansfield, Louisiana

Most of the eating places are fast food, and all suffer from "we're out of X" syndrome. The f'in Dairy Queen was out of ice and bananas.

Mansfield has the worst Walmart in the U.S. Remember when the EBT system went down and Mansfieldians were buying TV's with their EBT cards?
It was, however, the only time you could find more than one checker. People drive to MANY to get a better Walmart.

Mansfield could be a much better place.

I've been stuck in this place for 3 months. It's terrible. It's not the worst because they actually have a decent strip club.

Gonna amend my vote and second the Leesville pick. Terrible.

Drove across Alabama two days ago. Holy hell what a shithole state. Not as bad as Leesville though.

I don't know about every small town but of the cities I've been to, Montgomery and Shreveport are pretty terrible.
