Mobile claims to have beautiful beaches but they have diarrhea colored dolphin island and dookie colored bay water

Dauphin Island is the bomb. I was there at the beginning of the summer and the water was green/brown, but it was so laid back compared to any other beach I'd ever been too. I will be going back first chance I get.

Yup water is gross.....keep driving and make sure to drive 35 thru the tunnel. Dauphin island is terrible.

i think that guy must have had a bad experience in Mobile.

most likely, he got the shite kicked out of him and someone took his lunch money.

either that or the dude just sits around at his computer talking random crap about places that he's never been to.

It depends on how much rain runoff is dumping out of Mobile Bay, the tide, and the Loop Current. It also depends on what part of the island you are on. It has been as good as it gets the last week. And a lot of these replies have been moronic.

This was Thursday. What a horrible, gross beach. Grand Isle is much better.

brown to green. if u want blue water u need to go to emerald coast destin watercolor etc, but it is fine
