Wandering Hyrule in the original Legend Of Zelda. I can't even find it on youtube. But it is impressed into my brain.

Bad to the Bone was my favorite song as a kid. It ended up describing me later in life

We built this city by Starship

I just remember that song being on the radio every car ride in elementary school for some reason.

"Eye of the Tiger"

As a kid I just assumed it was an LSU song that was later adopted by the Rocky films.

Not easy to pick one but I'll go with:

The 59th Street Bridge Song (Feelin Groovy) - Simon and Garfunkel.

Camp Granada

Hello Muddah, hello Faddah
Here I am at Camp Grenada
Camp is very entertaining
And they say we'll have some fun if it stops raining
I went hiking with Joe Spivey
He developed poison ivy
You remember Leonard Skinner
He got Ptomaine poisoning last night after dinner
All the counsellors hate the waiters
And the lake has alligators
And the head coach wants no sissies
So he reads to us from something called Ulysses
Now I don't want this should scare ya
But my bunkmate has Malaria
You remember Jeffery Hardy
They're about to organize a searching party
Take me home, oh Muddah, Faddah
Take me home, I hate Grenada
Don't leave me out in the forest where
I might get eaten by a bear
Take me home, I promise I will
Not make noise, or mess the house with
Other boys, oh please don't make me stay
I've been here one whole day
Dearest Fadduh, darling Muddah
How's my precious little bruddah
Let me come home if you miss me
I would even let Aunt Bertha hug and kiss me
Wait a minute, it's stopped hailing
Guys are swimming, guys are sailing
Playing baseball, gee that's bettah
Muddah, Faddah kindly disregard this letter

I have a few. Anything by Merle, She Can Put Her Shoes Under My Bed by Johnny Duncan, Islands in the Streams, Kiss an Angel good morning, Hold on Loosely, & Jesus loves me yes I Know.

My cousin lived with us his sr year of hs. I was 10/11. This was early 80s & he had a new Z28. He would take me to school with the T tops removed blasting 38 Special, ZZ Top, & more southern rock. I thought I was the coolest kid at school when I’d step out of that car. Good times.

Merle was always played on the 8 track in my dad’s truck on Sat mornings going to the dump.

Other songs was my mom’s influence.

Certainly don’t make music like they use.
