Conflict theory suggest that social issues like homelessness are a direct result of an individuals shortcomings and flaws in their personality rather than flaws in the society itself.
If handouts were not given and puishment for crimes were more harsh, it would deter the "I just want to be free crowd" and then you could start sorting out who is actually mentally ill and who just wants people to cater to them.
There would be a window of cruelty of sorts while the mentally ill become hungry because they can't fend for themselves but I guarantee you anybody with a lick of sense will figure out a way to get off his arse and get to work if it meant they only way he would eat was if he earned it.
If they handed out food instead of money for compensation for work. There ain't nothing that couldn't be built.

Didn't read 8 pages of this shite.
Once all the annoying boomers start dying, they'll be plenty of homes available as a result of low T millennials and their offspring.
Gen X will not factor in, as usual.
I cover most of the OT poster demographic?

Hmm, you know how to post a meme...Either Gen X.... Doubtful, they don't care about shite. Or Millennial. I'm guessing the later.

Lol there’s no such thing as poverty here. The lowest of the low are still squarely in the top 5-% in wealth in the world. Your communist shite is hilarious. How do you think 120m people died there and n the early 20th century?

A lot of people see the homeless and get angry. Some say it is a deep inner feeling to block the fact they themselves could one day be that way.
On the other hand, when most people see a stray animal they get emotional.
That's why they should make the homeless pets. Imagine, you could possibly own a REAL German Shepherd!

I generally believe that less government involvement is better but there is a great need for affordable housing for people have been priced out of the housing market.
Gentrification has been ongoing trend which has displaced many semi-skilled workers like people who work in restaurants, etc.
Part of the explanation for the labor shortage in some business sectors is that workers can't afford the high cost of housing in the associated cities and the affected businesses can't afford to pay the high wages it would take for these workers to be able to live and work in these cities.
Couple that with runaway inflation and you the formula for our current socio-economic situation.

If we would just let the Democrats keep doing what they’re doing it will all get solved since they have such a stellar record on fixing societies ills.
Look at the cities that have literally morphed into utopias such as Portland, San Francisco, Seattle, Philadelphia, St. Louis…..I could go on but you get the idea.
They have such a tremendous track record at turning those cities around and almost completely eradicating homelessness, drug abuse and lowering crime.
Midterms are coming! Remember…..GET OUT AND VOTE! VOTE DEMOCRAT!!!!

Oh and then just build some more affordable housing for all the hard working people who can’t afford to live in an area! Affordable housing is great! Section 8 and housing projects are great for the neighborhood.

Eat them, you know like how we are getting the nutria population under control.

Well giving them free lodging isn't the answer. Austin bought 2 nice hotels and moved them into to get them off their streets. Guess what? Those hotels are so damaged and trashed in a year that they are almost unliveable. They spent 10 million a hotel to get them off the streets.
