Had a guy named Jesus ask me if he can borrow some nails. I told him no, that didn't work out too good for him last time.

Saw Auburn blow a 8 run lead in the bottom of the 9th with two outs. That has to be pretty rare.

Saw two NFL games in person, in one day, 1996 -- Saints at the (brand new) Baltimore Ravens at noon; Jets at Redskins same night at RFK.

I didn’t get to see what happened but I was finishing up a round of golf near dark and I was around 210-220 yards out on 18. Hit with my 5 wood and it looked good right off but lost the ball due to being near dark. Heard a loud pop and I thought I had flown the green and hit the trees behind it but my playing partner said it had to hit the flag stick. Got to the green and there was a bird dead about a foot from the hole and my ball was about another foot past the bird. Not sure how it happened but I envisioned it happened like the Randy Johnson pitch or at least that’s what I like to think. Proceeded to miss the eagle putt.

2 things
Shamrock Texas, watched a Jake Turkey try to mount a Roadrunner and chase it out of sight.

Years ago I had a friend that was dealt a royal flush in trumps playing bourelle.

Went to 2 LSU games when Chris Jackson played...

Saw him Foul out
...only regular season game he fouled out of (he would foul out of his last game as a Tiger in the tournament).

Saw him score 9 points against Auburn
...the only time in his LSU career he did not score in double figures.

it's certainly not THAT popular of a card game, especially in the south where most posters are from.
It's pretty damn popular in south Louisiana.

I didn't think it was insulting at all, just that it's a very popular card game in south Louisiana.

I saw 3 California Condors in Marble Canyon, AZ last month. There's less than 500 left in the world.

Human Decency
Lost my wallet at JazzFest in 1986.

Went to work the next week and by Wednesday it was in the US Mail to me there along with the $300+ cash in it and AMEX Gold Card.

A Nurse from Tulane Medical Center has found it (my business card was in it too) and she got herself some roses for her troubles.
