What is the purpose of Dept. Of Public Safety officers?

What do they do? Drive around in nice Tahoes and waste tax dollars? What is their main task?

Weigh station enforcement. Considering all the bitching about 18 wheelers damaging roads and all the threads bitching about 18 wheelers flipping over, seems like you would be in favor of them.

Another level of dicks, these guys are a special kind of a-hole, I have dealt with them on occasion. They are mad they aren't state troopers, but still feel the power they think then badge brings
