Could be a bit worse. Top club’s national teams in San Antonio are $7500 for dues and then you have private lessons and travel. I’ll just be thankful my last kid in the house doesn’t want to partake in equestrian.

Skiing isn't as much as equestrian or sailing but it's certainly extremely expensive relative to most sports.

Even in Minnesota, hockey is expensive as shite.

Well First off.. no one is buying an S-works for their kid.
And you'd be wrong about that. We have at least 5 or 6 kids on his team that ride them. Some are sponsored. Our kid, who's middle of the pack, rides a Epic 8 Pro...
High school Mountain biking is HUGE here.
ETA: Here's a pic of one of his teammates from last year. This took me about 5 mins to find...

In Dallas? Yes, it is. You can thank the Stars and their monopoly of local ice rinks and their price gauging on ice rates. Literally, there was an article written in USA Today calling them out on it.
Yep, lots of drama with that situation.
And my kid is a goalie too, so it’s super freaking expensive. To make matters worse, he’s on a travel team.

Got two in gymnastics and dancing and the combined isn’t for the weak.
