I watched an Aussie friend of mine buy a 5000 dollar bottle of Martell cognac in the Singapore airport. He proceeded to bring it back to his high fenced security patrolled compound in Indonesia.

I almost sent some European kid on vacation careening off a Swiss mountain to his death at age 12 when I "leased" to him for .10 swiss francs a lunch tray I had stolen from the mountain-top ski lodge cafeteria. Thankfully, he bailed off the cafeteria tray and wiped out at the last possible second before he would have flown off the side of a cliff and fallen several hundred feet minimum to his death in the valley below. I'm really glad I don't have to live with that on my conscience.
