Are these drug/turf beef related?

Or is it usually dumb shite like disrespecting somebody’s cousin and bullets start flying?

This might be a better thing to study rather than police brutality.

A few of the shootings involve, "steppin' on someone's Jordans", I've been told.

This is very true.

I believe the rapper Riff Raff refrences this in his song "Tip toeing in my Jordans"

Elvis warned us back in 69

As the snow flies On a cold and gray Chicago mornin' A poor little baby child is born In the ghetto And his mama cries 'cause if there's one thing that she don't need it's another hungry mouth to feed In the ghetto People, don't you understand the child needs a helping hand or he'll grow to be an angry young man some day Take a look at you and me, are we too blind to see, do we simply turn our heads and look the other way Well the world turns and a hungry little boy with a runny nose plays in the street as the cold wind blows In the ghetto And his hunger burns so he starts to roam the streets at night and he learns how to steal and he learns how to fight In the ghetto Then one night in desperation a young man breaks away He buys a gun, steals a car, tries to run, but he don't get far And his mama cries As a crowd gathers 'round an angry young man face down on the street with a gun in his hand In the ghetto As her young man dies, on a cold and gray Chicago mornin', another little baby child is born In the ghetto

It's a general lack of respect for a human life.
When you aren't shown a real purpose in life ( what will you be when you grow up?) because you have just a single mother, who hasn't figured out her purpose, you generally don't give a shite about another person's life.

Interestingly, it usually correlates with television. Some of the most violent nights the last few years have followed plot twists in Game of Thrones or votes on Big Brother. People tend to celebrate or mourn certain characters on popular shows and then get too excited and murder.

The biggest murder night in BR history was actually the last episode of Seinfeld.

People who own no property are very territorial of their turf.

Guys, if we just get some gun control, all of this nonsense will come quickly to an end.

Its not a good idea to allow just any woman to spit out as many kids as she wants or to allow just any man to impregnate as many women as he wants. There has got to be some regulation for reckless procreation. Not the kind of modern day, worthless regulation, I mean harsh, not fricking around any more, regulation. But that’ll never happen so I’ll stfu.

Don't forget that we also need to pay more taxes. If we just provide a free education, free housing and free healthcare for all those folks, things will surely get better.

EDIT: we also should take down all old racist statues, apply subjective factors to objective tests to promote diversity, make sure the final 5 candidates for police chief all are African American, make sure we never have a commercial with just white people, and ban certain words from the language and stereotypes from our consciousness. There are several other measures that need to be taken, but we need these at a minimum.

EDIT #2: let me add a few more things: We also need to let rap and hip hop take over all music award programs, including country music. We need to pretend that having 10 kids from 10 different sub-human sperm donors is just fine. We need to kneel for the national anthem. We need to consider pants on the ground and Yeezys as high fashion. We need to pretend that music blaring from open car windows so that it shakes the ground at the gas pump where you are pumping gas is cool. I know there are some more measures that are important, too. I will add those later.
