I have been in my current job for 15 years. I will be leaving for more money and a better fit for me in a month. I'll also be closer to some friends and family. Very happy.

21 years, current job. Will likely be here for about 10 more until I retire. Small (about 35 total employees) family-owned consulting firm.
About 7 years ago, after lagging behind in pay increases and some friction with the owners, I was walking out the door to go to work for a big international firm and a big pay raise. Owners of my firm didn't want that; they essentially THREW a bunch of stuff at me to get me to stay (VP status, guaranteed profit sharing, bonus, generous car allowance, etc.).
I'm glad I did decide to stay-- the firm I was going to work for merged a year later with another firm ( with lots of duplication of jobs and layoffs); a few years after that the guy who was hiring me was let go, and the guy that was going to retire, who I was supposed to replace, is STILL THERE seven years later.
And the current firm is very little pressure; lots of perks, autonomy, and we worked out the "friction" and there have been no issues since.

Same place or same job title?
I worked at an organization (in different departments and roles) for ~5 years.
I’ve worked in my current role (at a different organization than previously mentioned) for 3 years.
I don’t get attached to work. It’s a place/role that is there to pay the bills, nothing more, nothing less.

32 years and walked away with a pension and got another job.
I am not the type to look back and have not.
