I’ve been here damn near since the beginning and can’t remember another thread even getting to 1000 pages.
There is an AR thread on the outdoor board that is several hundred pages but it has been going for years.

An honorable mention on this issue is the Gustav thread.
It was one of the longest ever and the center of the OT at the time, which arguably played major role in spreading info and statuses, especially early on.

Gustav was a very good and informative thread. I cannot fathom how the Katrina thread would have been with modern day traffic.
