Pretty much anything that says kills up to 25ft away is good stuff. I've used several different brands. They all use the same chemicals.

An upvote for that out of character piece. I enjoyed it.

Soap and water is good but it doesn't kill them fast. Add some premetherin to it and it works better.
Get a garden sprayer and set it to the jet nozzle that shoots pretty far. Add 1 TBS dish soap and 2 TBS of premetherin. You can buy that a good feed store. Wet the nest down real good at night when they are less active.

If the nest is within ten feet of where I can get, I just put some Dawn liquid in the bottom of a solo cup and fill with water. Toss it on the nest, and you can even have the physical pleasure of stomping them as they fall on the ground, unable to fly away.

Soapy water
Been using this for years, better than any spray you can waste your money on short of a flame thrower.
What I find funny is how many people don't know this and don't believe me when I tell them.

Peppermint oil mixed with a little soap and water.
Seriously.
I used to use chlorinated brake cleaner, but peppermint oil kills on contact.

Holy water. Wasps are pure evil so it vaporizes them on contact

BeeBopper.... Stuff kills them so fast they stay on the nest without even falling off.

Few weeks back, decided to clean my ac condenser. Me and my son went out and took out the screws of the cage. When I pulled the damn thing off, the wasp reined holy hell on my. One got caught in my beard. From where I stood without getting more stings, I could see 4 nest.(ended up with 7 nest) Off to Walgreens we went. I bought every single can of spray they had. So I can speak with authority. Bengal has the best knock down, but the Raid kills faster. Don't even bother with the Walgreens name brand - damn wasp seemed to enjoy it. I also bought Spectrum or Sprectracide(don't remember exactly), it was useless. It just fogged, no jet. Wish I would have known about the soap and water....

This stuff SUCKS!! Comes out in a fog and just pisses the bastards off. Go with RAID.
