What are those same parents naming their little girls.

Not asking for a friend.

This board is obsessed with middle class white children.

Almost disturbing.

My theory: Braylen, Camryn, Jaden are gender neutral and are also used for the girls.

Usually any odd combo of 3 or 4 letters, usually with at least one k mixed in and ending with “eigh”.

I was watching some real estate show on HG and these people named their son Ember. This would work horribly for either a boy or girl name IMO

Here in Louisiana there seem to be an inordinate amount of Rayleighs and variants of that name.

What is the genesis of that name? Seriously. Any great Rayleighs in history? Maybe a famous Rayleigh out there somewhere?

Nope. Bitches in trailer parks and travel ball moms sure love their little Rayleighs, though.

I just don't get replacing vowels with a Y.

I mean it is stupid.

100% serious question: when and HOW did this new trend of names start? I’m mid 20s and all of my peers have traditional regular names.

I'm so glad that I gave my kid a normal name.
