Ok then. As another poster said the growth of media in our society. The more time that people have spent in front of a screen the more society has gone downhill. Now people have that screen in front of themselves in public. It’s maddening to be in line behind an idiot that can’t get off the phone long enough or stop staring at their phone screen long enough to interact with the person in front of them.

While we do have many problems and society is and has changed and will continue to do so I do not by any stretch of the imagination believe America is downfallen. Quite frankly far from it. It is still the greatest country on earth with endless possibilities and I have faith that my children will be able to enjoy the same success this country has given me.

Growth of the welfare state. Too many women DGAF if they get knocked up some guy they know isnt gonna be around for the long term because the taxpayers will pay for their poor life decisions and they won’t have to go work for a living.

Meh. I know way too many bad apples who grew up with two parents. A lot of the thugs you think didn’t have a present father actually grew up with 2 middle class church going parents. The facade these kids put on is laughable, all to keep up with “the culcha”
