Other than the New Orleans area, no.

I'm not saying Baton Rouge is the end all be all or that other places aren't much nicer.

I am just really happy with my situation as it is in this city and where I live.

Not in Ponchatoula. Do not come here, it is horrible. In fact I would encourage anyone that might live here and is reading this to leave and never come back.

I don’t think you have anything to worry about.

No one is moving to Ponchatoula

Most people that I've met from Lafayette don't care for LSU but love the Saints.

People in Laffy don’t love the Saints.

They love to come to a big city, spend the weekend and post selfies on Facebook letting all their friends back home know they went to the Saints game.

Laffy is full of pretentious $30k millionaires

No offense to the Laffy posters here, but you guys know what I’m talking about.

Exactly

I wish they’d move to San Antonio

Because I drive through there to get to the ranch and there’s never traffic. I don’t understand it

I’ll take your word for it.

We usually just fly right over. Doesn’t look too bad from the air.

Now this is true.

I’m born and raised in Lafayette.

If I had to commute to New Orleans that would be a deal breaker

I would open a vein if I had to cross that bridge twice per day.

I live in St. Gabriel and I love it here. Traffic is not bad like it is in Livingston and Ascension parish. It’s right outside the city but 3 miles from bluebonnet and close to LSU.
