What is the best way to break in a new couch?

Yeah, I know. I threw that one across the plate but serious question. This new couch is stiffer than I thought it was when I tested it before buying.

I saw a friend of mine frick a hotel couch in new orleans on his bachelor party weekend.

One thing I saw online was a suggestion that you put your socks on and walk all over the cushions.

Yep.....or have your kids jump on it if you have any. Also, make sure you sit on all parts of the cushions during the first few months or so. After I bought my first new couch, I realized I was sitting in the same place all the time and that can lead to unevenness. If you got a couch with some really high quality foams it shouldn't be too much of a concern, though.
