during hunting season, all of the aforementioned are given up for woods and/or marsh. during summer, they're given up for some type of water activity.

go outside people

+1

I am even debating giving up on LSU game attendance next season. My hunting has suffered far too long.

If I have to choose between football game or hunting I'll be in the woods every time

Same. No questions asked.

Don't get me wrong - I love tailgating and I love football, but deer and ducks come first.

I'm hoping to buy an inflatable SUP in the next few months and spend many free weekends out on the lake with it.

ok. what did you do when you were in college that was so wholesome and fulfilling?

OP isn't in college anymore. He doesn't get the benefit of acting like a kid, or at least he shouldn't.

I have an 11'0" Yancy SUP. It's a cool thing to have. I use it much more here than I do actually surfing elsewhere. Smaller coolers will fit on them and you can fish off of them and whatnot.

My typical Saturday is nothing special, but this past one was anything but typical, let me tell you. I live with my two roommates, one girl and one guy who are both 26. Girl is a CPA and guy is a land man. Anyway, land man guy was off on business in TX last week when his girlfriend straight up left him to move to Oregon to pursue a dance career. Yeah, she doesn't realize it's going to be a different type of dancing when she gets there.

So anyway, guy gets broken up with and jilted while away on the job and gets home Saturday evening. Girl CPA roommate, who is engaged as of 2 weeks ago, has been drinking on a bottle of wine and is slurring her words. I take guy roommate to the bar immediately upon hearing what happened. We leave drunk girl roommate behind and head to the Bulldog. Everything is going ok and he's starting to act normal again. Talked to some girls there. Took some shots. Typical bro drinking stuff. Anyway, at about 1AM, he's starting to get sleepy and wants to call it a night. We walk back to our place and my girl friend picks me up there. I spend the night at her place then take her car back in the morning to get a change of clothes, etc.

I walk in the door and the place reeks of weed. No one in the house smokes. I walk in and clearly see bras, panties, etc strewn about the floor. I figure roommate's girlfriend has changed her mind about her future life of luxury and come home. I walk over to girl roommate's ajar door to ask her if she knows what went down the night before. Imagine my shock when I opened the door, got on the floor, everybody walk the dinosaur.

Wake up to the sound of a baby crying. (5:30)
Brush teeth, piss then go get baby.
Put baby on couch and go make coffee for me/breakfast for baby usually waffle or toast.
Sit on couch and watch mind numbing kiddie cartoons for 2 hours.
5 year old wakes up. I make myself another coffee.
Make 5 year old breakfast.
Wife wakes up and takes over kid responsibilities.
I go outside for random house chores. Cut grass, garden, etc.
At noon or before I come in and take a shower.
Help with feeding kids lunch, eat lunch, put kids down for nap.
Do internal "honey-do's" change bulbs, fix sink, etc.
Kids wake from nap.
Take kids outside to play.
More external house shite to do.
Come inside and help with dinner or watch the game.
Feed kids.
Bathe Kids.
Dishes.
Watch more mind numbing TV with the kids.
put kids to bed.
Fall asleep during the first 15 minutes of whatever grown up tv show I put on.

Smoking pot on a Saturday makes you a loser?

Absent no other social interaction outside of maybe a one hour flag football game? Probably, yeah.

My husband will be buying one as well. I will likely buy mine before he buys his though. Will be cool when we both have one though.
