Nothing easy about that at all, seemingly or not. It's outright difficult for the novice.

Plugging anything in blindly. No clue why but it's a frustratingly hard task for some reason.

That's my Kryptonite. I've gotten to the point that when new neighbors move in the neighborhood and we introduce ourselves, the first thing I do when I go inside is write down their names and addresses to help me not look like a fool later on.

It actually works------------sometimes.

Crack them on a flat surface, not on the rim of the bowl or pan.

Older the egg, the easier the peel- also, peeling under a stream of water helps.

Thank you

Unfortunately, while slightly less often, I still manage to get shells in the liquid with that method.

Hulk Smash is no way to go through life, lol.

But, here’s a thing I learned recently that helps when getting shell in the egg- use a piece of the bigger shell to fish the shell bits out- it actually attracts it instead of repelling like when you try to fish it with your finger or a spoon.

Key is to have good hand tools. I have a screwdriver that works like a wrench

Simple trick from Jacques Pepin. Take an egg in one hand with the big end up and use a message board push-pin to puncture a tiny hole in the shell.

Boil them till done and rinse under cold water----crack the shells all over and peel under running water. Works like a charm.

Hold the bottom of the wheel and turn it the direction you want the trailer to go.

I still remember being about 11 or 12 years old behind the wheel of old Lowell Vines’ late 60s Chevy C10 with 3 on the tree old and struggling to back up a hay trailer to his barn until he taught me this trick.

As for simple things I struggle with, it’s plumbing. I’m no plumber, but I know how to do basic things like installing a faucet, toilet, or replace a leaky section of pipe under the sink. But no matter what, when I’m done, there will inevitably be a slow drip somedamnedwhere.
