What is a human life worth?

Not all lives are the same value: Young vs. Old; Rich vs. Poor; and Sick vs. Healthy, etc. But ISIS wanted $135 mil for James Foley. I wonder what the most a life has ever been insured for and what is the biggest ransom ever paid for a life?

Don't worry. The government will have a set number for you if you wait a while for Healthcare to be completely run by the government.

I think the biggest ransom ever paid was for Freddy Heineken. It was something like $35 million Dutch Guilders.

Stats show it is somewhere like 3-4 million for an average individual I think.

A human life is priceless. I don't care the demographics.

Depends upon the human. Some are worth the cost of a bullet, some aren't.

Absolutely untrue. There are many choices that you can make which devalue your life.

Whatever the market dictates.

Would you rather live 50 years as a white person, or 100 years as a black person?
Saw that question asked on little house on the prairie.

Depends on who you are and what you're contributing to society.

You have never lived until you have been a black man on a Saturday night is what I hear!
