The last time I went to Pluckers on Bluebonnet, it was the day LSU played hoops at Auburn (the game we should have won). It was empty on a Saturday for an LSU game. It seems like they're on the way out, which sucks. I doubt they make it through this. Best wings in town (in my opinion).

It will hurt a lot of athletic departments. Football and/or men's basketball pays the bills for the other sports at most schools.
Even at LSU, baseball makes a profit, but not enough to have built a new stadium, etc, etc.
And then there are several smaller schools in which the football program doesn't make much money at all (in fact, there are some programs that go to small bowls, the amount it cost to go to the bowl is more than the bowl payout).
Without football, there will be some programs at some schools that will definitely take a hit.

Strange that the AMC s in Baton Rouge never upgraded to reclining seats that I'm aware of. Cinemark XD is my favorite in BR.

Sure, but they are propped up by their colleges and won't disappear. Lots of small businesses don't have the same protection, even as much as the government seems to be determined to throw fists full of money at everything that moves.

AMC at O'Neil & I-12 has reclining seats. The one at the mall doesn't. I guess their location allowed them to get by without it.
