Kayak fishing.
Just me, the water, and silence.
I grew up fishing out of a boat, but now I don’t think I’ll ever own one. The kayak is so simple. No hassle with fuel or a motor that won’t start, easy to load and unload, and it hangs from the ceiling in my garage.

I build scale models and cook.

Golf as much as I can, fish on occasion, build remote wooden ship, yard work, and whatever is on the Honey Do List that "we" are supposed to get done.
If I ever get that other person in "we" to show up, I will have to take this off my "do it on your own" list of hobbies.

Cut down dead trees and cut, split and stack firewood. Very cathartic and we heat with only a wood stove so worth the time. I always listen to a book or podcast during.
Run in woods/up mountains. Slowly.
Guitar
Sit and stare blankly in the peace and quiet.
I love doing camper mods and packing/organizing for boondock camping.
This list could go on forever really. Unfortunately I have very little time along these days.

Chickens
I actually woke up this am thinking about chickens. We have a nice coop and free-range yard. But we also have many predators (mink, coyotes, bear, etc), and my dogs are already barking at every leaf rustle right now. And they’d probably figure out how to get in there and kill them all. I think I’m gonna wait a bit.

Woodworking, play drums, when I snowboard even though I go with people, I do a lot of riding on my own. I kayak fish with buddies but we go our own ways once we get out there so it feels solo.

Bird Watching. You can do it anywhere, at any time of the year, and it doesn't cost anything.

disc golf mainly
This sounds worse than wasting your life playing video games.
Not so. I've never played, but I know a couple of guys who do, and they enjoy it and get great exercise. Of all the suggestions in this thread, the two I don't do but appeal to me are disc golf and fishing.

Video games arent a real hobby, theyre an activity people do to pass time.
Disc golf is active.

Im struggling to find fun things to do on my own. What do you guys do for fun by yourself?
Jiujitsu and hunting.
Although my 12 yr old son has started coming to class with me and we make a few hunts a year together, I still do a lot of it alone.

Go to a hole in the wall bar and get shitty drunk
I rather just stay home and do the same. Cheaper, don't have to drive home, you can take a nap when you want and then wake up and start all over!

skiing solo in the trees is the best. it's nice to have friends to ride the lift, eat and drink with, but it's also cool to meet new people (single-serving friends). especially at local hills midweek. lots of old people still getting up there, with cool stories.
