1. I don't know you, but you seem like a good guy with the best of intentions. My only advice is to stay strong and seek treatment. Your issues are likely not in your control, but your ability to handle them are. Do so for those who love you and depend on you. That's part of being a man and an adult. I'm glad you have a forum to vent. It's very critical. I have done the same.

2. The best thing personally I've had from TD (not specifically the OT) was someone went out of their way to grab me a t-shirt from the LSU/UK 2014 Ice Game so my kid could continue his collection. I made an off handed comment about someone saving one for me in the game thread and a poster read and responded. It's small, but a nonetheless a completely selfless act on behalf a a total stranger. You have to appreciate that.

I come here as an outlet as well. When I quit taking this place so seriously, I began to enjoy it a lot more. The posters have always made me laugh and I get breaking news and sometimes an 'inside scoop' before anyone else.

I guess the OT helped me realize my zany google skills. I don't know if that's a good or a bad thing.

I can relate to your feelings of desperation and how it helps to post feelings on an internet forum that you can't or won't discuss with others. It sounds like you have a lot to be thankful for which is one reason why the people around you may not see your internal struggles.

i wish you the best.

Nothing really

Place is filled with vile disgusting human beings with no moral compass. Can't forget about the racist, pedophiles, and womanizers either that flood the board.

OT keeps things in perspective for me. Let's me see how all you ballers roll, and answers a lot of stupid questions that people post, that are sometimes helpful.

Also lets me know that other people have some of the same problems I do. We've all got problems of some sort, and we're all battling them in our own ways. Remind yourself of the good things in your life, like you mentioned. If you solve your problems with that 40, you will surely hurt many people for a long time.

Stay strong - take some of the OT's advice - and live life to the fullest. Don't worry about other people's opinions, because they don't have to walk in your shoes and you surely don't have to answer to them. Life it too short already. Good luck

The OT provides a getaway from the monotony of everyday life. Between amusing stories, a good way to get news, and getting good travel advice on places I'm going to, the OT is a good place. In return, I provide the Cheap Airfare of the Week threads to save everyone $$
