This is why I don't bury them.

We had a dog, my dog, that was 17. She died when I was 17. She was my pet the whole of my first 17 years. She was a small dog. We made her a casket out of a big roating pan with blankets for a bed, and sealed it tight with slicone.

She was buried in the back yard.

Many years later I passed by. The house had been torn down and the plot of land was being developed. The grave of my beloved dog had been destroyed.

No, I will cremate from now on.

My wife has made it clear to me and her grown children. When she dies. That urn with our boy in it, goes into the casket with her.

That is not the way I did it. You have disposal burns, then you have the returns. For that, you mapped out where each dog is in the incinerator on paper. You sweep them up individually into their own 5 gallon bucket, then put them in the "urn" once the bones are cool enough not to melt the plastic bag. I won't say some crumbs of other dogs aren't in there, but you get 99% your dog.

It costs more for the returns because you can't pile up the dogs in the incinerator. Of coarse if you over pile, you will have to burn them twice.
