Haven’t ordered anything on it in a while, but now the only options are fast food and pizza. Tried ordering something from Taj Mahal and it wouldn’t let me put anything in my cart.

Is Uber Eats on the way out? Did Waitr take over?

Real restaurants probably don’t want their food spat on when being delivered

Waitr has the second worst search function amongst popular sites

Don’t want to mention the worst

I wonder with all the people home during lockdown and still working from home has been able to get more people to cook from home and not use this type of service?

It seems like a lot of places are moving away from utilizing Waitr/Uber Eats (and possibly the other services if they can).

I think it has to do with the share of revenue that they have to share with the services and the reduced amount of customers.

Postmates has always had a better selection in Atlanta, but Uber just bought them, so I expect Uber Eats will become the largest food delivery app of it wasnt already.

Ordered from a few different ones. Normally get food from DoorDash in about 25 minutes. Have ordered from Ubereats twice. Both times took 2 hours for me to get my food.

They are easily the worst food delivery services I've used.

Waitr is the worst. Restaurants not available during hours, 2.5 hour waits, shitty app.

They have been sending free delivery promos everyday for about 2 weeks now. They’re hurting.

To-go is usually not a high profit margin for restaurants. Delivery services taking 20+% is not sustainable for restaurants.

Am I strange that I've never used one of these services? I live close to a lot of restaurants/bars and think nothing of driving three minutes to pick something up. Plus I usually have a drink while waiting/

Sometimes if I have a little wait while waiting for food I watch as the delivery service trash comes in and waits to pick up orders and think to myself that I don't ever want these people handling my orders.
