My phone bill is $77 with T-Mobile. I get unlimited talk text and data and have had no problems. My internet is about $60 with ATT. I probably should switch every other year between ATT and Cox to keep getting a good rate on internet, but I hate Cox so much that it's worth the extra money spent on ATT to not have to deal with them.

I hadn't heard of Project Fi before. That looks interesting. How do you like it?

That's interesting that so many LA folks say that, because we love Cox up here, great service, friendly people, etc etc. I can't really see myself changing internet/tv providers.

No. That's my cell bill only, no other services.

$45 on Google Project Fi. $25 base for the line and unlimited text/calls, then $10 per GB and I typically use ~2GB per month. You get credited money back on your bill for any unused data for the month. If you pay for 2GB and only use 1 then your bill for the month is $10 less than base. Works well for me and I have found that not streaming music/video leads to very low data usage overall. Also, frick Verizon and AT&T. No contracts involved either
