People raise their kids to not be a self entitled POS. Maybe the parents not be a POS either.

Get rid of those who commit most of the crimes.

Extreme sentences for violent crimes, particularly for repeat offenders
You can argue it won't deter those not in jail from committing crimes and that may be true.
But it seems like every time there's a story about a crime, the perp has a rap sheet of 25 felonies or some shite. At minimum, those are off the streets on their 1st offense and never getting out again after their 2nd offense.

It won't happen, but that would be the best way to reduce crime, quality parenting.

A mother and father together raising their kids
Posted on 3/11/23 at 5:04 pm to hiremikeleach
If, by some miracle, every child born from this day forward had a mother and father invested in their lives for the first 18 years of their existence.

Neither are a good idea. Nothing will ever take away guns for criminals. They will obtain them illegally, that's why they are criminals.
A better plan, is more law abiding, tax paying, responsible citizens carry guns.
Also, lock up violent offenders... stop releasing them and prosecute.
IMHO

Two parent households who love and prioritize their kids.

A purge is the only answer. Any other way will take years to see a positive influence.

Repeat VIOLENT offenders should receive heavy sentences.
A felon in possession of a gun should receive 20 to life.
ETA: I see a bunch of responses of “two parent household” and “good parenting”.

Yea, that is the best option, but it is also the least likely societal change to occur.

Some people will never be capable of living in a mostly civil society. They can't be rehabilitated so they should be removed.

People don’t want honest answers to these questions because they really deep down want us to try to find other reasons to reduce crime. That way we make up other excuses for the real reason being that certain people continue to cause problems and issues in the community.
