For a classic, walkable course near LSU at $12, I give it an A minus.
What do you think?

That space could be better used.

There is a golf board, FYI. Just letting you know before the Grumpy McGrumpersons wake up and try to crucify you

Never heard it called City Course. Always called it City Park.
Could be worse, but isn't something I'd want to play regularly or waste one of my few weekend rounds on.
Works good for a quick, post work 9.

Made a hole in one on blind #8 in the 7th grade early 70’s. Never came close before or since.
It’s nice for what it is and there is plenty of room across the street for other venues.

one of my favorite courses to walk. where else can you hit tee shots over a family photography session in the fairway.

I live nearby and play there often. It's a great course for the casual golfer.

I love it for bringing my kids out. They're still young and aren't ready for a bigger course. City Park is short, quick and easy with plenty of duffers.

I hate to break it to you but you probably just got it on the green and some other kid ran out of the bushes and put it in the hole.
Kids have been doing that since the ‘50s (including my father

They should close the course and it just be a park. As far as golf courses go it is dogshit.

must have upgraded it, when I used to play there it was almost a joke to even call it a golf course, no tee boxes, had to have a sledge to get your tee in the ground, ungroomed, the 'greens" were also a joke, it was just close and cheap
