We've explored more of space than we have the bottoms of our oceans. Try that for perspective.

Yes and no. To the extent (which is pretty low) that a commercial aircraft could go “into space” we have more knowledge of that “space” than we do of the floor of deep oceans and seas. But space writ large is mostly unknown and essentially unknowable.

Nah, too many loose lips.

Hitlers submarine ran out of fuel on the way to pick up ice in Antarctica to bring back to Argentina. They had got misguided and were near the Far East due to a navigational error.
They laid on the bottom till the could hijack an airplane.
Him and Bormann are now circling the world in that plane.

Yep. Can’t get past tFlight simulator

Best guess. The lead pilot had sims set up in his living room trying different flying experiments, until he finally snapped.

The Netflix doc was full of far fetched conspiracy theories so outlandish only the tin foil hatters believe it. The pilot killed then all.

Russia, Russia, Russia.

It's funny when people remain in the denial stage after hearing the simple truth of a shocking event, suddenly Elvis is sighted at a donut shop, the mafia gets away with killing JFK and GWB is revealed as the mastermind behind 9/11.

It touched on 3 theories. The first was pilot suicide. When they brought up his simulator, they mentioned a route very similar to the one the plane supposedly took (with the banked turn to the left). A couple of people tried to debunk that by saying he didn’t necessarily fly that route in the simulator and that he could have just randomly clicked a different location and made it appear he flew it.

Agreed. The preview and opening episodes were fine. I pushed through season 1 and somewhere in 2 the scifi and supernatural got out of control.

They’re wanting to deny the pieces of plane that have washed ashore by saying they were planted.
They’re wanting to deny INMARSAT data by saying it was tampered with.
They’re wanting to deny the pilot/suicide theory because he seemed nice and stable and came from a loving family.

If debris is found in Africa, it must have been planted.
Wat?

and one involving the US taking down the plane over the South China Sea because of some cargo (lithium batteries was on the manifest) we didn’t want to get into Chinese hands.
We think the Chinese can't get access to lithium batteries?? WAT???

Problem is there is literally zero evidence that he planned to commit suicide other than transducer being turned off. Maybe the damn plane just depressurized and it just flew around until it ran out of gas

Didn't the flight simulator in his home have a path close to the one that MH370 took in real life?

I spent so many hours thinking about this mystery back when it happened. Also played The War On Drugs album ‘Lost In A Dream’ on repeat during that time. To me it’s the soundtrack to this mystery. The vibe fits, check it sometime.
And I believe it was likely the pilot, but I think there is an outside shot it was hijacked and landed. The manifest was vague and there were some interesting people on board with tech knowledge that might be the key to all of this.
Remember the US did not do hardly anything or help with the search efforts on any large scale. This despite an American made plane carrying some US passengers vanishing into the blue.
I think if this is the true answer, the US stayed out of it to avoid the embarrassment of another government getting the tech or people on board with knowledge.
