Why do u think you need to have a piece of paper to have an "education"
Posted on 4/24/18 at 6:32 pm to fightin tigers
I would say that's laughable since 47% of the workforce does, but don't take any time to look before enlighting us.

Yes, big time.

Operators? I would imagine so.
Only 40% of the general population have an associates or higher.
A few minutes ago your claim was operators were GED level

And here come the crawfishing. Didn’t under stand what an operator was and that they work directly for the company and not a contractor. LOL

The while point is studies show the more education you have the more you save, generally speaking of course. Every operator in existence has his coffers filled high enough for retirement to feed a village, has a boat, F250, 500 acres of hunting land, and his wife drives a Benz despite them having average to below average education. I contend that's bullshite because every observable metric points that way, but the plant baws know that's not true because there buddies tell them it's not.

I think Mingo is illustrating a degree doesn't necessarily equate intelligence

Your plant worker neighbors must have more showy wealth than you

I can't think of another reason for your irrationality

I'm an operator. But I'm also a journeyman in 3 crafts and have an associate's degree. While I'm not as educated as you, I've spent many years learning. And my family will never go hungry while I search for a job . I can make a couple calls and I'll be back on my tools in a week.
I'm probably in the minority buy my 401k is maxed as well as a Roth. My wife contributes to her 401k but doesn't max it .
Oh and I only own 200 acres.

You are and that my point. Not only for plant workers, but everyone. Any other contention is patently incorrect.

Conservatively, 20% of ops/mech, 50% of ops/mech management, 98% of technical, 100% of technical management, 100% of site management, lab is probably close to 75%.
Yeah. I'd say they are well above your overinflated number of 47%.

I don't live in a DSDL neighborhood, and if I did they would because I wouldn't overextend myself to have a 70k truck and 50k boat.

What point did you decide to shift this to a troll? Because now it is cutting into your personal time.

One more question for clarification..
Why do so many operators wear flat bill hats?

Like the third post when I said I like to troll operators because they get so mad (2nd or 3rd page) then I got about 50% serious for a little while.

Here's a shocker: most "operators" you know like that are not actual plant operators. They're glorified loaders and valve turners.
