Per Douglas Adams, the easiest way is to paint it in bright loud colors and put a Somebody Else’s Problem field around it, which puts it into a psychological blind spot for people.

Your accounts receivable should be up to date with that kind of enforcement.

Since this is page 7 and no one is reading this, I will tell the absolute truth. I work the 10pm to 4am shift at the local Waffle House as a bouncer (aka night shift cook).

Construction - attempting to shutdown interstates in medium sized southern cities and creating change orders by the dozens.

I get paid to explain to individuals and companies whether or not they may do what they can do and want to do. Then I get paid to produce a situation where they arguably may do what they want to do and can do. Later when they get caught doing what they want to do and can do by an entity that thinks they may not do it I get paid to convince a group of people made up of between one and twelve individuals that either they may do what they did or alternatively that even though they may not do what they did it did not hurt the entity asserting they may not do it so they should be allowed to continue doing the thing they can do and want to do.

An alternate view of this is I take simple situations and make them remarkably complex then at some time in the future I get paid to explain how the complex situation is actually very simple. Somewhat like a magician doing sleight of hand.

The key to making this lucrative is getting paid by the tenth of an hour and not by the job.

Retired and hating it. Stress puppy. Need problems to solve. Jobs to estimate. Gordian knots to untie.

Where do I apply?

I am getting tired of the 9 to whenever.

I am ready to mooch on someone else for a few years. I don’t mind cooking, cleaning, bringing the little animals to school, and going to their games.

Smart man!

To answer your op, I’m a general sales manager in the building material industry. Wife is a stay at home mom/wife and I earn well into the 6 figures but we live like I earn less than 100k.
