Explain this.

Are you saying quality duck calls = Grifting?

I get the feeling any private industry is "grifting" to you commies.

No, the redneck "we're just like you" personas for the show is the grift.

The only one I know for sure that moved was Jep and he did that once filming ended. I live in West Monroe and Willie lives right around the corner from me. He built a huge place not too long ago. Also, I’m pretty sure they still attend church in WM.

Rich people pretending to be poor rednecks so they can grift money off of actual poor rednecks?

What? Their wealth was in no way hidden on the show. They were portrayed as Poor rednecks turned rich people. Which is exactly what Phil is.

The kids not so much. They're about as real redneck as Larry the Cable Guy and Kid Rock.

It really depends on your definition of redneck. If you were a yankee and looked at his boys who are avid hunters and enjoy doing country things you would call them rednecks regardless of their wealth and college education.

In my opinion they are probably great people but reality and show business are two different things. They put the show together based on getting viewers not Showing reality.

My kids loved the show hell I even laughed at most of it shite I bet I own every season on DVD because they loved it that much and that was the point of the show to sell.

Hell, I know for a fact they got a permit to release African Bullfrogs for the golf course frogging episode.

It is all staged. You have no idea what you are talking about.
I’m crying laughing at this because, I built the board we tied the bullfrogs legs to. Notice they never chased them away. Wayne McDaniel is a former police officer who was the cop that was going to “arrest” them.

Godwin, Stone, and Martin do still make duck calls.
