One time my granddad gave me a dollar bill and I threw it in the trash because it was just a piece of paper and not the coins he usually gave me. I still feel bad about it

I thought when looking at old black and white photos that everything back then was literally only in black and white (as in no such thing as color). I believed that some time in the 50s or 60s (when color photos became popular) people started gaining color....

There was nothing like quarters. I use to rather get quarters than anything else. I think I thought because you can use them in vending machines they were better than anything else.
