I was lead to believe that if you work hard and treat people kindly you will achieve in life. Honestly, all I see is arse kissers and back stabbers achieve.

One time I was at Five Guys and this woman and a kid (I assume her son) were making their order. The little guy must have been 4 or 5 years old. The most paid in cash, gave the cashier 1 bill (probably a $20 or something) and she received change that had a few ones (i assume) and the little kid was like "wow, you have him one dollar and he gave you more dollars back". This reminded me of that situation..lol

One time my granddad gave me a dollar bill and I threw it in the trash because it was just a piece of paper and not the coins he usually gave me. I still feel bad about it

I thought when looking at old black and white photos that everything back then was literally only in black and white (as in no such thing as color). I believed that some time in the 50s or 60s (when color photos became popular) people started gaining color....

There was nothing like quarters. I use to rather get quarters than anything else. I think I thought because you can use them in vending machines they were better than anything else.

My father was one of those confused Saints fans. Pulled for the team to win while proclaiming how bad they suck at the same time.

That:

The Pleiades were the Little Dipper;
Halley's Comet was pronounced "Hailey's Comet";
Coral Snakes could not strike and had to chew to envenomate;
You could ruin an engine by putting sugar in the gas tank;
Space itself was infinite;
Bigfoot, and especially the Boggy Creek Monster, existed;
Ghosts existed;

I remember when I first learned wrestling was fake. My dad was watching 20/20 or something and there was a thing about pro wrestling and the lady doing the report said "the acts in wrestling you see are fake.."... It was worse than finding out Santa was fake.

That if you're not first, you're last. I've come to realize that you can be 2nd, 3rd, 4th and so on.
