My mom's best friend was an Iranian lady, nicest person you would ever want to meet. Also, the Iranians going against orders from their supreme leader was the only country in the middle east that held candlelight vigils after 9-11. While other middle easterners danced in the streets.

You must have been a bit of an a-hole then. I found the people in these countries to be incredibly friendly when I visited, and got blitzkrieged with some German friends when I visited there. Germans and the Dutch really don't have much against us at all. Not even had the slightest bit of hostility from these countries.

If anybody thinks badly of us then they can go suck it. The US is one of the few countries trying to mediate some peace in Ukraine and Gaza while everyone sits around bitching about it.
The US was the first to start dropping aid in Iraq and we're actually taking proactive steps to help solve the problem instead of bitching about it.
The Scandinavian countries tend to look down on Americans because they view their countries as idyllic socialist utopias.

The Chinese that are educated and can speak English for the most part like us. The vast majority hated our guts. Their main goal every day was to screw us out of as much money as they could. They are the lying-est people I have ever dealt with.
The Saudi's are split, some hate us some like us. They all hate the Iranians.
Brazilians are about 50/50. Very few are actually friendly until you get to know them. I have a few that are very good friends and would do anything for them as they would for me.
Most of the Europeans I have worked with have all had that bit of arrogance and jealousy of Americans. They all just can't grasp the fact that we own the guns we own, the freedoms we have and the cost of living here. So naturally I rub it in every chance I get.

I've had a lot of experiences with Germans and Dutch and except for one or two exceptions they've all been fun, great people. Same with Belgians but I've had fewer interactions with them. You know that stuff in Austin Powers about hating the Dutch was a joke.

I worked with two Englisg guys and one Irish guy on a crew one time. The two English guys were alright, I got along fine with them, but the Irish guy told me the fence in his backyard was older than our country so we really weren't shite. We ended up in a fistfight This was 2004 so I was in my forties.

The old people there indeed hate your guts, but people in their 30s or younger don't really. They think you're an idiot who don't know the prices around there, and for the most part they're right. If you start speaking Mandarin to them, then they'll put down the facade since they know you're more than aware of their bullshite and that you've likely got the means to turn them into their employers and get them fired.
My dad went to visit me once, and we wanted to go about a mile to his hotel, and they say they'll take him there for $15. My dad agrees, but I get incredibly pissed and know that that ride would be about $1.50 and that they were charging him 10 times the amount that it would take. And it's not him that that's affecting, but it's me that he's affecting. Whenever they are able to use those prices with tourists, it fricks over the Westerners who live there full-time. So I talk to them in Mandarin for a second, threaten to call the police, for stealing from us, and then they agree. And suddenly my dad gets pissed for arguing with them for 2 minutes about fricking us over. Can't win in that situation.

Russian women are extremely mouthy and unpleasant. They could also use a shave.
After having dealings with three of them, I now know why Russian men are alcoholics.

My former employer built a rig there. I got to stay for almost a year before it left for Brazil. For the most part I liked it. I met some good people but I also had to deal with idiots on a daily basis. They screwed my company out of millions of dollars. That rig is the reason none of the other drilling contractors would do business with them.
