I have my own: Borat was predictive programming.
Go back and reexamine the reviews that movie got. They were over-the-top, positive in the extreme. Supposedly this piece of crap was high comedy. (It was OK as lowbrow comedy, at best.)
Now, ~10 years later, we're told to be very afraid of Russia and of that part of the world in general. We must be good people and stay within the Western European orbit.
All of this was set up by Sacha Baron-Cohen and his handlers.

My rule of thumb is that if the conspiracy theory is less interesting or remarkable than the established “narrative”, it’s probably true. If the conspiracy theory is more interesting than the media/history’s accepted story, it’s probably false.
