And the only reason there's a shade of blue is because the potato that took the picture didn't have flash capabilities
The dress is blue, but the only reason people think is white is because of the aforementioned potato's pic taking skills.

There is like ten other pictures of the real dress and it is blue.
Find me an actual site to purchase the dress on, preferably by the person who makes it.
Because all you're doing is posting a photo of one color the dress comes in. A lot of cheaper women's clothing is available in multiple colors..

Yea lol at all the people seeing white and gold. I think I'd have to question a whole lot more than just this dress if I was seeing white and gold!

Can your brain not process that the filtering of the pic is distorting the color of the dress? Yes the pic doesn't look black and blue. But my brain can see through the filter and identify the correct color.

The actual dress has been posted too many times to count and you're going with what looks to be a random post off any random website?
The dress is blue and black. The pic n OP is shitily lit, but the actual dress is black and blue.
How you and other can't grasp that is beyond me
That pic being posted really is the same dress, just in better lighting.

Screw whoever put this stupid picture on the internet. Screw them.

I don't see any white, so it "clearly" does not show white. And the fact that it is really blue makes it "clearly" blue.

Agreed.
Again the people claiming its their dress saod they took the picture after seeing it at a wedding to sejd to her daughter. But the picture is clearly a store display and not the one they posted of a woman wearing it. Why post a store pic if at a wedding of the dress?

quote:Correct, the dress is blue, but the lighting is in such a way that it makes it appear white to some.
You can post a million pictures of the "real" dress
it doesn't fricking matter
the lighting in that picture clearly shows white/light blue and gold
its not hard to understand

guess not because in no way can I see black anywhere on that picture of that dress

Yes the pic doesn't look black and blue.
guess yours can't either

Whatever champ. The dress is black and blue. Always has been, always will be.

Because that story is as believable as the random post I posted
People will believe what they want and agree with articles and posts which back their belief. It's not rocket science, it's basic psychology

Explain further, please. Because I can't grasp how a dark color can trick you into thinking it is the lightest of all colors.
How is the lighting set up to do this?

You're in denial. I can see the colors through the filter. Sorry you can't.

Agreed. They had a link earlier where they broke it down by pixels and it eas actually orangish
