Change the education system to be more engaging for high-risk youth who lack a solid support system at home. Teach them skills, not books.

You watch too many movies about idealistic teachers who are assigned to work inner-city neighborhoods then magically transform a bunch of misfit gangbangers into scholars.....

It's amazing that people like him want to put increasingly impossible demands on cops while simultaneously limiting the pool from which they're selected.

Stop voting for politicians who care more about criminals than crime victims.

It's a chicken or the egg kind of deal.

You see the chicken....you think these groups of people come out of the womb with no mission in life but to leach off the government. They can't be saved.

I see the egg....I think these groups of folks are products of their own environments. No 6yo kid wants to grow up to be a deadbeat welfare case or end up in jail by age 18, but they do reach a point where that's the only options they see and learn from the adults around them.

When you see the egg, you realize that changing the environment is the key. Changing opportunities, approaches, introducing welfare limits, etc...these things take time but, slowly, the environment changes.

We've been trying the same tired policies for a century and they're not working. It's time to focus on what causes people to become criminals instead of accepting crime as an immovable, innate presence.

Providing transportation and childcare to those inept is not a tax payer problem.

You’re delusional

This is a classic "tell me you've never interacted with these people without telling me you've never interacted with these people"

That environment will only change from within. Continuing to throw money at these lazy ghetto communities isn't doing anything. Nothing will change in black culture until other black people get embarrassed and tired of it.

In the meantime, cut off damn near all entitlement programs. Make people have to actually provide for themselves instead of leeching off of taxpayers.

You're literally proposing tripling down on every failed policy implemented over the last 30 years

Mike Rowe, too?

Teach kids to write game code. Team them fashion design. Teach them salesmanship. Offer them guaranteed employment after school (with a guaranteed starting pay) in fields like plumbing, electric, welding, carpentry, etc. Get rid of Algebra and teach personal finance. Get rid of Literature and teach them current events. There are a million and one things schools can be doing that will keep a greater number of kids engaged in school and want to graduate.

long prison sentences. It’s the only thing criminals fear.

The problem is that a lot of criminals don't actually care about going to jail. If you're living in a crappy house in the 7th ward without A/C, going to prison and getting all of your needs taken care of isn't entirely unappealing. Either you make a lot of money doing hoodrat things or you get caught and get to go live someplace better than where you started.

And none of this shite matters unless black culture is willing to completely revamp itself.

-Prioritize academics over athletics.
-Stop glorifying baby daddies and start glorifying fatherhood.
-Stop glorifying rappers and gangbangers.
-Stop viewing prison time as a badge of honor.
-Stop making fun of kids who do well in school for being "too white".

Nothing changes until any of the above happens. You can't help someone who doesn't want to help themselves.

Also, prison needs to become a place that everyone fears. No air conditioning, no TVs. Work 70-80 hours of hard labor every week. Prison is too comfortable, and you can tell because there are so many repeat offenders.

Yep.

mmmmbeer’s progressive party has opposed work requirements and even opposed requirements to look for jobs in order to receive welfare.

And he thinks “offering” public works projects will result in change?

Change either has to come from within these communities or be forced upon the communities from outside, the former which has been shown to not occur.

How about we start by preventing the criminals within these communities from terrorizing the rest of the community.

mmmmbeer and his party of progressive DAs flat out oppose that.

You support the group that actively opposes any changes like that at every turn…teachers unions.

Nothing but hot air.

That's why we make cops live in high crime neighborhoods and then not allow them to stop people roming the neighborhood at 3 am with hoodies on!

This is the second time you've called out "black culture". Crime, education, government reliance, generational welfare, etc, are huge problems with multiple races, especially rural whites.

People like her tend to scream about how change has to happen, yet they continue voting for the same people and policies in local elections.

Them too, then. The point is that throwing money at these problems doesn't do anything because it doesn't make these people learn to stand on their own two feet.

No, I've called it out many, many, many more times than that and will continue to do so as long as the evil white man continues to be blamed for all of their self-inflicted issues.
