What are your thoughts on reaction videos?

If you don't know what they are, consider yourself lucky. Reaction videos are where let's say someone is putting together a cake using a recipe. Then there's some idiot making stupid overreacting faces to that video.
I actually saw a reaction video of a reaction video recently. This was three videos going on at the same time. Wtf

Some can be funny if the reviewer has personality

The novelty and originality of them wore off after about 3 weeks. As with just about everything, it's been completely overdone.

I actually like the food videos or crafting videos when a person duets them and makes comical or sarcastic comments about them.

It just depends upon the reaction. I use to enjoy watching black people and foreigners reacting to different genres of music as well as other events. I might still watch some reactions from time to time, but I am sort of burned out on it. I have switched over to watching reviewers now.

Hate them. Every video online is a video I sort of want to see split with someone making dumb faces.
I mean plain reaction videos. Not commentary videos. People who watch videos MST3K style can be pretty funny.

It’s an over saturated market on YouTube but there are very few that are good at it. Some can be entertaining.

I do find myself watching odd reaction videos at times. Like "tribal people react to American food"

The ones I'm talking about have a split screen, with one person actually doing something (original video) and some dipshit listening, not talking, but rather make faces, nodding, and pointing at the other screen. It's fricking stupid.

I really got into the channels(Try and Facts) with Irish people trying things but it's gotten pretty stale.
I think that I'd like a good music reaction channel, if I could find one. Most of them are geared towards Metal, hair bands, and classic rock songs that you've heard a million times.

Most of these people follow a template. Its akin to reality tv.
