What are your thoughts on people who act like everything revolves around politics?

I'm sure that you've all seen that person. Every conversation evolves into "libs" or "trumptards".

I saw a personalized plate the other day that said "45 N 20"
Took me a sec to realize what it meant, but what happens to the plate when Trump wins lol.

I pay pretty close attention to the major elections and do my best to make an informed decision with my vote. After that, I check out until the next one. I don't really even watch the news.

More and more people are starting to think that everything should revolve around politics. People (especially college kids) choose their friends based on political party. It’s really sad to see. I fear that the more people begin to think like this, the closer we are to losing our Democracy. The fact that everything is revolving around politics is sickening. Politics is supposed to revolve around us, not the other way around
