What are your thoughts on giving tips on a tablet screen?

The screen is usually in the person's hand or right in front of them when we pay. It's always calculated tips which are 18%, 25%, 30% or other.
It always puts pressure on you to hit a button real quick, even if they really didn't give you any service.
I always hit other, or no tip, depending on where I'm at

No tip every time. Unless I'm sitting down at the table or they bring it out to the car at curbside pickup, I'm not giving them a tip.

No problem with the tablets at all, gets me out of there quicker.
Usually go with the custom tip option.
ETA: assuming a sit down meal of course
to go's i may tip a dollar here and there depending

If I do everything off a tablet at a restaurant I’m not leaving a tip. I usually tell the server I’m not using it, if they want to enter it all in on the table device, that’s on them.

This, except for Sonic. Carhop gets a little something.

Tap just outside the blocks, and hit enter enter real quick.
They think you tipped, but the grand total is gone so they don't actually know how much or if you really did.

If they bring to the table and clean up I usually add 2 or 3 bucks

What are your thoughts on giving tips on a tablet screen
They aren't thinking or worrying about it nearly as much as you are.

Imagine if you had to make a really important decision in your life. You’d probably die.

What are your thoughts on giving tips
Makes the overall costs higher of course, but it was damn refreshing to have them bring the machine to the table, touch it with my card, and that was it--no calculations necessary.

No service = little or no tip.
Means nothing.

I hate tipping. Your services should be included into the price of my meal.
